Hello :)
I’m Dilan. I will tell you about myself. I’m from Turkey and I’m 25 years old. I live in Antalya, Turkey. There was plenty of sun and sea where I came from:) I’m a reporter. I worked for a local newspaper in Antalya. Since I grew up in a household where my parents had to work, me and my siblings had to self educate ourselves at an early age.
I have a big work experience, I worked as a waiter, cashier and consultant.
I have experience as a local volunteer in Turkey. One of things I did was coaching for a mentally disabled girl, I helped her on way to school, with the homework, we did sport together. On another volunteering program me and other local volunteers organized bazaars to buy food for street animals.
I love traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people. I love cooking, taking pictures, I like children and animals.
During my volunteering in Poland I want to learn a lot about Polish culture and teach other people about Turkish culture. I want touch the people. I also think that Gdansk is very beautiful city Hope to see you soon on my lessons and activities in the Morena Association

Yesterday on the Cooking Club we cooked Turkish soup.
Recipe below
Visitors helped me make the meatballs. Together we prepared the meatball for soup but I had to warn partcipants several times not to make the meatballs too big. They carefully noted what I was doing. They asked me where they did not understand. For those who do not speak English my friend Magda translated to polish. Soup cooked very quickly.
We ate soup together. At that time we listened to Turkish songs and talked about my job as a reporter. We talked also about the turkish economy. After eating participants helped me collect the plates.

About last week's Cooking Club
We chopped the ingredients with the visitors and made béchamel sauce. They said it is hard to make the bechamel sauce but after doing it they found that it was not that difficult. While I was waiting for the food to be cooked, I told the participants information about the food. All together while eating, we listened to Turkish music. After eating we started to dance Turkish dance together. I taught them 'Halay, roman havası ve çifte telli.’
Everyone liked‘Elbasan’ and left saying they were looking forward to the next week.
Recipe Elbasan
Ingridiens:
• 500 gr meat
• 3 red capya pepper
• 3 pieces of pepper
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon of thyme
garniture
• 3 teaspoons of salt
• 2 medium onions
For bechamel sauce;
1 liter milk
2 tablespoons of flour
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon oil
Top, last kashar cheese
Cut the meat a little and then we have to cook it their own juice. You can add some water.
Chop the onions, put in the pan and cook, then add the peppers. After the meat is cooked add the meat to the mixture in the pan. Add garlic, black pepper and salt on it. Don't spill the meat because you need to use it last.
For sauce ; First, let's put butter and oil in the pot. When the fat starts to melt, let's put our flour into it and start roasting. Then let's add our milk slowly, continue to add milk gradually as it comes to consistency. then put all the ingredients on the baking sheet. Add a little gravy and pour over the bechamel sauce. Bake in a 180 degree oven for 10 minutes. Then, we add the kashar cheese and fry it and we are ready to eat.
