As a one of the biggest NGO in Pomorskie Region we know how to work with
unexperienced youngsters from different countries both long- and short-term (since
2010 we host nearly 50 volunteers in our organization from Portugal, Spain,
Germany, Hungary, France, Turkey, Italy and Belgium. From these experience we
noticed how our target groups benefit from being in contact with
people from different cultural backgrounds, where they shared their experience and
knowledge).
Working with volunteers gave us a chance to work out procedures which makes
learning process of international volunteers more diversified, efficient and qualitative
it also gives us possibilities to build new international partnerships with experienced
non-governmental organizations in Europe and Partner countries.
One of our priority is to raise awareness among young residents of Tricity (Gdańsk,
Gdynia, Sopot) what volunteering is and to intensify the promotion of youth mobility
within EU programs, especially projects of European Solidarity Corps program.
Over the past five years, we have sent five volunteers abroad (in the frame of
Erasmus + and European Solidarity Corps program).
In the beginning of 2020 we sent our local volunteer Grzegorz, to long-term
volunteering project to Red Cross Association in Portugal for a long term project (12
month). You can be next. Read more on the Page ESC and contact us, we will help
you find opportunity which can change your life.
