1. Why did you decide to make EVS abroad?
I started to be a local volunteer in my Sending Organisation and I loved it, so I decided to become an
EVS volunteer abroad.
2. How did you choose this country and this Project? Why this one?
My Sending Organisation proposed me this Project, I read it and I said yes at first time and because of
my department(International Relations) I should know new cultures, meet new people and improve
my English skills
3. Describe briefly your Project
Doing beneficial activities with seniors. For example gymnastic, English speaking club, Turkish
lessons, Baasketball lessons (etc.)
4. How many applications you sent before you have found your Project?
I sent only one application. (Thank You :)
5. How much time it took from the moment you decided to be volunteer till the moment you start it?
-3 months.
6. What was the biggest difficulty you have faced preparing to your Project?
Documents for visa.
7. What surprised you in this country?
I was expecting cold people in Poland but was wrong, people are warm in here.
8. What is the most beautiful place you visited during your EVS?
Way by the river in Gdańsk City Center (Old Town).
10. What can you advice to the people who wants to be EVS volunteers?
Dont wait for anything just come, learn and have fun :)) .
